Armand Morrison has been involved in healthcare IT for over 20 years working with c-suite executives across the continuum of care to help leverage new technologies toward improving patient care and reducing cost. Armand is currently on the executive board for the NYS chapter of Health Information Management Systems Society "HIMSS" , which is a global advisor and thought leader supporting the transformation of health through information and technology. In this role, Armand is co-chair if the IT Leadership committee and WNY chapter liaison and has coordinated multiple educational and networking events that bring together like minded individuals across the healthcare IT continuum with a focus on leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes, and reduce the cost of delivering care.
On the professional side, Armand is a Vice President with emids, a Nashville-based company specializing in healthcare IT consulting services and technology solutions. Some projects that Armand has been involved with include working with a regional health system select, implement, and bring live a new enterprise Epic EHR system; working with a large physician practice to improve their talent acquisition process through innovative technology solutions like robotic process automation (RPA) and launch several data marts and BI dashboards with a team of microstrategy developers; working with a large for profit health system outsource the management of their health IT interface systems.

Joe Peacock is the VP of Engineering at ACV Auctions, Buffalo's first unicorn startup with a private valuation of $1.5b. At ACV he has grown the technology team to over 75 engineers by pulling top-tier software engineers from across the nation. Prior to ACV Auctions, he was a Technical Program Manager at Facebook in Menlo Park where he focused on BLOB storage infrastructure and capacity planning for many of Facebook's products. Joe has always had a passion for hacking and working in startups. His first startup, Gradfly, was in the early cohort of companies that was accepted into z80 Labs. In addition, he has been part of organizing, growing, and sponsoring UB Hacking since 2013 that now has over 800 student attendees. Joe graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University at Buffalo.

Jennifer is responsible for building relationships with universities, community, and local corporations to help create an innovation district in Buffalo. She is focused on empowering corporate innovation and helping organizations develop creative solutions to challenging business problems.
Jennifer worked for 10 years in mortgage banking in Atlanta, GA before transitioning into talent acquisition and technical staffing program management where she spent 5 years managing national accounts. Prior to joining the BNMC, she was an Account Executive, selling IT services and software development solutions. In this role, she helped bring the Topcoder Open to Buffalo in 2017.
Jennifer is a Virginia native and graduate of Mary Baldwin College. She moved to Buffalo with her husband and two sons in 2009 after spending 12 years in Atlanta, GA.

Robert Ruocco joined BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York in 2016 and is the company's vice president, chief information officer.
With more than 25 years of technology experience, Ruocco is responsible for establishing the health plan's technical vision and leading the company's technological development.
Prior to joining BlueCross BlueShield, Ruocco served as vice president, chief operating officer-information technology, for Healthfirst, a not-for-profit managed care organization serving close to 1.4 million members in the greater New York City area. In that role, he maximized performance and service delivery for information services, reducing administrative costs and transforming healthcare delivery for the company.
Ruocco earned a master's degree in science, information management from the Stevens Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in strategic management from Niagara University, and a bachelor's of science from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
He serves on the board of directors for the American Lung Associations Buffalo and Northeast Chapters, AAA of Western/Central NY, Mission Ignite powered by Computers for Children and the Computer and Science Engineering Advisory Board for the University at Buffalo. Liz has worked in the Buffalo technical community for over 20 years. She began working in IT while in college. As a graduate of Canisius College, Liz began her career in the helpdesk and steadily rose through the ranks into a Network Administrator at Delaware North. Taking time off to have her 3 children, she developed and began teaching a music and movement class for the YMCA for preschool children. Returning to work full time in 2008, she has held several positions within Ronco Communications including NOC Supervisor, Director of IT, and Director of Service Management. Currently the Director of Marketing, Liz’s technical background has uniquely positioned her for success in this role. She continues to innovate and bring her understanding of technology and it’s applications to continuously improve her organization.
